Unless 'exact' is ticked, all searches for surnames will find names that CONTAIN the letters you type in.
e.g. wood will find Wood, Allwood, Woodward, etc.
Searches can be made broader by using wildcards:
Use the percent (%) sign to represent any number of characters.
e.g. w%d will result in Wood, Ward, Dowd, Wakefield, etc.
Use the underscore (_) to represent a single character only.
e.g. an_a will result in Anna, but not Anita or Annie.
First names and addresses can be searched in the same way.
