23rd Mar | AGM and change of programme: Peter James will talk on "The Girl who invaded America". Born in Foleshill in 1862, the heroine of the story was the daughter of a silk weaver. She sailed to Philadelphia aged just seventeen... what happened next? |
27th Apr | Peter Walters will talk about his current project, an historical layering of maps of Coventry for the interactive website Coventry Atlas. |
25th May | The outing to Maxstoke Castle being postponed, Sheila Woolf will talk on "Philip Larkin and Coventry." |
