23rd Mar | AGM + The Red Countess - Aaron Manning. Daisy, Countess of Warwick (1862-1938), shocked the world in 1923 when she stood as a Labour MP in Warwick. Victorian socialite and mistress of Edward Prince of Wales, she became a Bolshevik-sympathising Socialist and activist. Aaron was Head of History at Warwick Castle from 2011 - 2016 and is now Interpretation Manager at Historic Royal Palaces and Director of the Warwick Words History Festival. | AGM |
