Mary Lee was born Mary Harris in 1807 and baptised at Ryton-on-Dunsmore on 7 December that year. Recorded as a 45 year old seamstress in the 1851 census, she married late in life, on 20 July 1854 at St Michael's Coventry, her address at the time being Warwick Road.
Her husband Job Lee, three years her junior, was a master tailor, who lived for much of his life on Motslow Hill.
She died on 20 November 1861 and was buried on 24 November. The inscription on her tombstone is from the Book of Revelations. Her sisters
