Joseph Reynolds was baptised at Stoneleigh on 5 April 1759 and died very young - just 25 - on 14 November 1784. He was buried on 17 November.
His parents were Elizabeth and Joseph Reynolds and Joseph was their second child - their first, Samuel, was born in 1753 and baptised at Stoneleigh. Both Elizabeth and Joseph lived to a great age and ended their days in the almshouses at Stoneleigh. Elizabeth died aged 82 in September 1802 and Joseph aged 87 in 1807. Neither of them has a known headstone but their burials are recorded in the Stoneleigh register.
