Ellen May Harris (often known as Nell) was born on 29 March 1910, in Binton near Stratford upon Avon, to parents Albert Harris and Emma nee Tysoe. She was 28 years old when she married Cyril Kenneth Edmunds in September 1938 in Warwickshire. He had been born in Stoneleigh on 15 May 1908. In 1939 they were living in Birmingham Road, Stoneleigh, with Cyril's mother Matilda. Cyril was working as a foreman at a Motor Accessory Manufacturer. Unfortunately he died when quite young at the age of 48 years on 26 October 1956. Ellen lived on for another 36 years until July 1992 when she passed away aged 82 years.
Cyril Kenneth Edmunds was born in Stoneleigh on 15 May 1908 and was baptised there on 21 June 1908. His parents were Benjamin Edmunds and his wife Matilda nee Goode. By 1911 Cyril was two years old living with his parents, four elder brothers and an elder sister in Stoneleigh. He married Ellen May Harris in September 1938. A year later in the 1939 Register he is described as a foreman at a motor accessories manufacturer. He was living with his wife and mother in Birmingham Road Stoneleigh. He died aged 48 years on 27 October 1956 with his death registered in Warwick.
