John Henry Powell and Helen Powell nee Johnson
John Henry Powell was born on 23 February 1917, and in the 1939 register was living at Ivy Cottage Lapworth as a farm carter. In 1966 he married a widow,
Helen Launchbury; she had been born Helen Johnson on 29 January 1914. In March 1934 she married Charles Launchbury in Birmingham and they had a daughter, Betty. In the 1939 register they lived in Lapworth where Charles was a brick setter. Charles died in 1964.
John Henry died on 19 January 1998 aged 81; Helen had died thirteen years previously on 14 October 1985, aged 71.
