Sidney Isaac Reed and Dorothy Evelyn Reed nee Woodfield
Sidney Isaac Reed was born on 20 October 1911 in Coventry, and married, in late 1937, Dorothy Woodfield, a Stoneleigh girl born and baptised in Stoneleigh. In 1939 they were living in Keresley Road, where Sidney was working as a foreman fitter for an aero works. They had one son, David, born late that year.
Dorothy Evelyn Woodfield was born on 22 February 1914 and baptised at Stoneleigh on 5 April. She had two sisters and a brother, and her parents, Ernest James Woodfield and Harriet nee Wooding, (see
C 4.6) had lived in Stoneleigh all their lives, both being from long-established families in the parish.
Sidney died on 26 January 1987, and Dorothy on 14 December 1994. At the time of her death her address was Barnack Avenue, Styvechale.
