Grave photoElsie May Hall nee Chadfield Elsie May Chadfield was born in Longford Derbyshire on 15 May 1886 to parents Thomas and Thomasine Chadfield. She was baptised a few months later there on 25 July. By the time of the 1891 Census Elsie was living in Rodsley Longford with her 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Her eldest sister Elizabeth aged 19 was the head of the family working as a farmer. The 1901 Census shows the family living at Rodsley House Farm with the head of the family being Thomas Chadfield, Elsie's father. In 1911 Elsie was now 24 years old and living at Shirley Vicarage in Derbyshire working as a servant to the Owen family. Four years later she married Henry Percy Hall in Ashbourne Derbyshire in July 1915. They had a daughter Millicent Thomasine born on 7 February 1920 in Burton Staffordshire. Elsie and Henry lived at Stoneleigh Grange in the 1950s before he died in 1959. Elsie lived to be 105 years old before finally passing away in West Somerset on 13 February 1992. Henry Percy Hall Henry was born in Brailsford Derbyshire on 13 December 1885 to parents William and Millicent Hall, and was baptised there on 22 December. He was one of six children; his father and grandfather had both been farmers. He married Elsie May Chadfield in Ashfield Derbyshire in July 1915. They had a daughter Millicent Thomasine on 7 February 1920 in Burton Staffs. By the time of the 1939 Register Henry was a dairy farmer living at Oldberrow Court Farm in Worcestershire with Millicent helping him. They then moved and farmed at Stoneleigh Grange in the 1950s . Henry's death was registered in Warwick on 1 April 1959 when he was 73. Millicent Thomasine Hall Millicent was born in Burton Staffordshire on 7 February 1920 to parents Henry Percy Hall and Elsie May nee Chadfield. She was baptised on 7 March 1920 in Radbourne Derbyshire. She died aged 91 years in Stoneleigh on 27 March 2011 with her funeral service in Stoneleigh on 12 April. This was followed by her cremation at Oakley Wood.
