Hubert Gerald Edmunds
Hubert was born in Stoneleigh in the first quarter of 1905 and was baptised on 26 March. His parents were Benjamin Edmunds a farm labourer and his wife Matilda nee Goode. In 1911 Herbert was living with his parents, his elder brothers John and Henry who were also farm labourers, two other brothers and a sister, in Stoneleigh. Hubert married Violet Beatrice Henstone, who also came from a large family, in Warwick in June 1931 and they had a son Terrance whose birth was registered two years later in September 1933 in Warwick. They also had a daughter Pamela in the first quarter of 1935; unfortunately Hubert died soon afterwards on 17 June 1936 aged just 31 years.
