Grave photoClara May King was born in Stoneleigh Warwickshire on 1 April 1900 to parents Joseph King and his wife Mary Maria nee Lowe. By 1901 Clara was living with her parents and four brothers, in Vicarage Road Stoneleigh. Her father Joseph was working as a waggoner. 10 years later the family were still living there and Clara was at school, but now had two younger brothers. She married John Henry de la Pole in Stoneleigh on 27 January 1923 when she was 22 years old. They lived in Birmingham Road, Stoneleigh and had two sons Dennis and Kevitt and a daughter Brenda. She died on 2 November 1986 aged 86, two years after her husband John Henry. John Henry de la Pole John Henry was born in Dublin on 18 December 1897, his father being Frederick de la Pole. Records show that John Henry served in the Royal Navy as his name is noted in 1918 on the land-based "ship" HMS President II, which was an accounting base. His occupation was noted as a toolmaker. He was married in Stoneleigh on 27 January 1923 to Clara May King who had been born there on 1 April 1900. Their daughter Brenda was born later that year on 20 December, then a son Dennis two years later on 7 June 1925. Their last child Kevitt was born on 5 June 1933 and by 1939 the family were living on Birmingham Road, Stoneleigh, with John Henry being employed as a toolmaker at an electrical company. He passed away aged 86 on 3 February 1984 with his death registered in Warwick.
