Harriet Beesley
Harriet was one of the ten children of Henry and Annie Taylor and was born in Berkswell on 30 October 1898. Her father was a butcher and the family lived in Balsall Street.In the summer of 1923 she married George Beesley and their son James Henry was born the following year. Sadly Harriet was widowed in 1939 and by September that year was living at The Kennels with her son, doing paid domestic work. Another son, Arthur, was born in 1940. Her headstone records that she died on 13 September 1987 aged 88.
