Grave photoArthur Reginald Rowley and Winifred Ada Rowley nee Weaver Arthur Reginald Rowley was the son of William Rowley and his wife May. He was born on 2 December 1900, his father being an inspector of postal workers. He married Winifred Ada Weaver on 7 October 1928 at Stoneleigh, and by the time of the 1939 register they were living in Green Lane where Arthur was an unemployed builder working as an ironmonger. He died on 9 August 1988 in Bentham, Cheltenham, having named his house "Stoneleigh". Winifred Ada Weaver was the daughter of Thomas James and Jane Esther Weaver. She was born in Solihull on 22 June 1905. In 1911 her father was working as a typewriter in Sparkbrook, Birmingham, with her mother being in the same trade, working as a mechanic for the Remington Company. Two children had been born of their marriage but only Winifred was at home on that date. She died less than a year after her husband, on 5 June 1989 and was buried at Stoneleigh on 10 June, although she had continued to live in the family home in Bentham.
