Denis Rawlinson was born on 15 May 1908 in Manchester, as stated in some later passenger lists. He became a company director who travelled frequently across the Atlantic on business, often via the
Queen Elizabeth or the
Queen Mary. He was married to Marguerite Parsons, who was born in Spain. Indeed they were married there and she often travelled with him. They had a daughter, Anna, born in 1946. Marguerite died in Barcelona in 1969.
He lived for much of the time at 8, Stoneleigh Road. However, his address at the time of his death, on 23 October 1987, was Manor Court, Avenue Road Leamington.
