Grave photoHarry Ralph Harry was born in Bromley Kent about 1870. His parents were John and Margaret Ralph. He married Phoebe Clifton on 11 September 1893 at All Saints in Stoke Newington. The 1901 Census shows them living in Stoke Park,Coventry, with Harry's stepchildren; Harry was employed as Manager at a Varnish Works. Ten years later when Harry was 40 they had a nine year old daughter Marjorie also living with them. The family had moved locally to Binley Road, Coventry. Harry died aged 64 on 20 August 1934 while living at Ravensbourne, Kenilworth Road in Coventry. Phoebe Ralph, nee Clifton Phoebe Clifton was born in Islington, London on 21 October 1860 to parents William Clifton and his wife Phoebe. Phoebe had an older brother and sister and the family lived in St. James Street, Islington. By the time of the 1871 Census they had moved to Oakenden Road Islington and had 2 lodgers living with them. William's occupation is described as an artist in wood. Phoebe married Roswald William Burrows on 19 July 1881 at St. Paul's, Canonbury, He had been a boarder with the Clifton Family. Roswald died on 25 April 1887 aged 29, leaving Phoebe widowed with two children. By the 1891 Census Phoebe was head of the family living with her son and a boarder in Leconfield Road, Islington. Phoebe married Harry Ralph on 11 September 1893 at All Saints in Stoke Newington. After Harry had passed away in 1934, by September 1939 Phoebe was living with her daughter and a housekeeper while still living at the family's Kenilworth Road address. She died on 25 November 1941 aged 81 years.
