Reginald and Dorothy Hiorns nee Rogers and Avril Tomson nee Hiorns
Reginald Frank Hiorns was born on 9 April 1904 and baptised at Coventry St Thomas in June. His parents were Thomas and Florence and his father was a machinist. They lived in Arden Street. In late 1928 he married, and by the time of the 1939 register he and his wife Dorothy lived at Pipes Mill, where he was an RAF coach builder. His headstone reads that he died suddenly in May 1962.
Dorothy May Rogers was born on 19 February 1906; she was 91 when she died in June 1997.
Their daughter
Avril Dorothy was born on 25 March 1945 and in 1973 married James Tomson. She died on 9 May 2013 in Myton Hospice and her funeral was held at Stoneleigh on 24 May, when she was buried with her parents.
