Cyril James Webb was one of the four children to survive from the marriage of Arthur Webb and Louisa nee Jeffs, of St Neots in Cambridgeshire, where Arthur was a shepherd. He was born on 25 May 1904.
In late 1927 he married
Ivy May Harper, the second child of Thomas and Alice Harper. She had been born on 28 May 1905. Their marriage was registered in the Caxton district. They had two daughters, Joan and Betty. By 1939 Cyril and his wife were living at Abbots Ripton in Huntingdon, where he was a shepherd.
Cyril died on 20 October 1964, predeceasing his wife by thirteen years.
