William Hubert Allbut was born in Bournville in 1909 to Hubert & Rose Allbut. In 1911 the family were living in Sheepwash Lane, Great Bridge, West Bromwich with his father working as a grocery manager. He married Mary Louise Stringer in Coventry in September 1934. He died on 16 December 1965 aged 56 in Coventry & Warwickshire Hospital. His address at the time was Kyneton Houses, Finham Coventry.
Mary Louise Stringer was born in Keresley Coventry on 26 April 1909 to James Thomas Stringer & his wife Susannah Elizabeth (nee Sparkes). The 1911 Census showed the family living in Durham House Keresley with James described as a cycle factor. Mary Louise eventually passed away in Coventry on 26 December 2002 aged 93, some 37 years after her husband.
