Thomas Farmer and his wife Mary nee Goodman
Thomas Farmer was the second son of
Richard Farmer and
Elizabeth nee Blick (
D 16.2). He was born in 1755 and baptised on 25 June in Stoneleigh. There were six siblings altogether, but sadly their mother Elizabeth died in 1758 when all the children were very young.
Thomas married
Mary Goodman on 25 September 1781 in Hunningham and they had three children, Mary, Richard and Thomas.
Thomas and Mary farmed at Weston under Wetherley.
Mary had been born in 1756 in Weston under Wetherley, the daughter of Thomas and Francis Goodman. She was baptised there on 2 January 1757. She died on 10 February 1816 and was buried at Stoneleigh on 14 February.
Thomas died on 28 December 1817. He was buried at Stoneleigh on 5 January 1818.
