Mary Edginton nee Shenton

Mary, though the date of death recorded in the burial register suggests that she was born in 1776.
She married Edward Edginton at St Michael's Coventry on 14 October 1799.
Edward appears to have come from a Stoneleigh family, the name often given as Edgington. He was baptised at Stoneleigh, the son of Richard and Ann Edgington, on 26 October 1771.
When Mary died in 1833, the Stoneleigh burial register for 7 May 1833 notes that she was "of Coventry". This was because Edward had been working as a carpenter and joiner in Union Street in Coventry.
In 1834 Edward remarried, his second wife being Elizabeth Woodfield. By the time of his death in 1840 he had moved to live in Kenilworth. He too was buried at Stoneleigh, on 26 July.
