Mary Sammons nee Rotherham
Mary Rotherham was the daughter of John and Catherine Rotherham; she had a brother and a sister. She was born in1762 and was baptised at Claverdon on 28 December. She was married to
Joseph Sammons (
D 20.2) on 3 November 1785 at Coventry St Michael's. Six children are recorded from the marriage, though their first, William, baptised in 1786, seems to have died in infancy since another William was born in 1803.
Mary outlived her husband by five years: she died on 7 February 1828 and was buried at Stoneleigh on 11 February.
Joseph died on 16 September 1823 and was buried at Stoneleigh on 19 September.

George Septimus Phillips is buried at
