William Ellimen was presumably working on the extensive building works happening in Stoneleigh when he died in November 1815.
William was the son of Thomas and Ann Ellimen of Leamington Hastings, where he was baptised on 31 December 1786. In the Stoneleigh burial register he is recorded as a journeyman carpenter, born in East Leamington but having died in Stoneleigh, aged 29. He was buried on 26 November 1815.

The Birth and Burial registers and the W.I. transcription vary the surname spelling as Ellymam, Eliman and Eldeman. The recent reading of the headstone shows Ellimen.
Death with a dart pierced my heart
When I was in my prime
Dear friends forbear to shed a tear
Twas the Lords appointed time
