Henry Carter was born in1865in Aston Cantlow to Louisa (nee Tomblin) and Richard Carter. On26December 1891he married Georgina Emily Chamberlain in Snitterfield. They went onto have seven children, and by 1915 had moved to Stoneleigh where their last child William was christened. Henry was a labourer, as noted in Spennell's Directory of 1920.
Georgina Emily Chamberlain was born on 3 October 1870 in Englefield, Berkshire butby1891 had moved to Snitterfield. Although her husband Henry died on21 March 1937, she continued to live in Stoneleigh where they had made their home, and in 1939 was living at the North Lodge with her son, Henry (see
B 18.7). She died on 1 April 1956 and was buried alongside her husband.
